4302 Risk Based Inspection 580 (RBI 580)

Overview

Risk Based Inspection (RBI) allows you to analyze the risk of the components of a piece of equipment failing due to specific degradation mechanisms. You will learn about the different stages of the RBI 580 workflow. You will also learn how to navigate existing RBI data, create an RBI Component, create an RBI 580 Analysis, evaluate degradation mechanisms and consequence, as well as learn how to calculate and review RBI Analysis results. By understanding and utilizing the Risk Based Inspection module, you can analyze components to better understand their risk of failure to define appropriate inspection strategies.
