Overview

Developing the asset hierarchy in Predix Essentials and/or Predix APM is one of the first steps in implementing a tenant. This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to create and ingest an asset hierarchy into a tenant.

• Explain the dual asset hierarchies.
• Ingest a taxonomy for assets in an asset hierarchy.
• Ingest assets using the Predix Essentials / APM Unified Asset Ingestion Data Loader.
• Verify successful ingestion using the Predix Essentials / APM User Interface.
• Explain how tag mapping plays into the asset and data connectivity in APM.
• Understand how to configure MEH assets.
