4307 RBI 580 PRD Methodology and Application


The Pressure Relief Device (PRD) Methodology and Application course discusses the PRD workflow in APM as a part of the RBI workflow. PRD is supported by the RBI 580 solution and allows you to evaluate risk in order to protect equipment or RBI Components from pressure buildup. In this course, you will first review the purpose and key terminology of the APM RBI module. You will discuss the PRD workflow, as well as review several PRD Methodology concepts pertaining to Risk calculations for the Fail to Open and Leak failure cases for PRDs. You will create PRD Components and PRD Analyses in order to evaluate PRD calculation results and to explore how PRD Analyses protecting Equipment differ from PRD Analyses protecting RBI Components.
