Course Description

SmartSignal Model Maintenance Training

Overview

SmartSignal Model Maintenance students will learn how to perform standard asset maintenance activities, such as adapting new data into a model, turning on and off sensors, and changing residual thresholds. Basic modeling concepts are presented, along with hands-on lab exercises, where you will use the Asset Center application to practice asset maintenance on realistic cases. Students will also dive into advanced model maintenance concepts and learn how to train and tune models efficiently.

Audience

This course is intended for Implementation and Monitoring personnel interested in gaining an introductory level understanding of Model Maintenance.

 

Pre-requisites

  • SmartSignal Fundamentals (OL)
  • SmartSignal Sentinel (OL)
  • 5054 APM Predictive Analytics - SmartSignal Modeling (OL)

When you complete this course, you will be able to:

  • Change threshold settings and activate tags
  • Add, replace, or delete historical data for an asset
  • Perform data selection and all associated tasks
  • Address calculated variables & operating modes
  • Use Adaptation from Sentinel
  • Manage old data and test assets
